About Tim Cortrecht

Tim Cortrecht in a cream jacket over a blue shirt.

My name is Tim and I am a ten year resident of Noblesville and I am a committed member of this community. I currently serve as your Precinct 2 Committeeman and was elected delegate for Noblesville in 2022. I was also appointed as the Hamilton County Board of Zoning Appeals alternate by the County Council in 2025, though a clerical oversight kept me from being able to serve.

I have been joyfully married to my wife Ellen for thirteen years and a devoted father to my three young children, all in Noblesville schools. I am first and foremost a child of God. These are roles and responsibilities I value most. My family, faith, and service shape who I am and how I approach leadership.

I was raised with conservative values grounded in faith, hard work, and personal responsibility. These were shaped by growing up in Hamilton County with family roots running deep in Noblesville back to the early 1800s — nearly two hundred years of family in this community. These values were formed while attending Carmel High School, American Military University, and currently Liberty University, and working in EMS before joining the Navy. I believe those values still matter today and should guide how we serve our communities. They have shaped my belief that government exists to serve people not itself, and that public trust must be earned through truth, transparency, and accountability.

I currently work as a surgical technologist in an area surgical center after years of working in various sizes of hospitals and L&D C-section suites. Through this work and service in EMS and the Navy I have learned the importance of clear communication, fiscal discipline, and doing the job the right way even when it is difficult. Those lessons directly inform how I approach public service.

I believe the core responsibilities of government are simple and essential. Safety, schools, and streets must always come first. Taxpayer dollars should be treated with respect and waste should be eliminated, while growth should be thoughtful, responsible, and focused on serving the people who live here.

I am a Christian Constitutional Conservative. My faith guides my values and morals as well as my commitment to humble service and personal responsibility. The Constitution guides my understanding of limited government, the rule of law, and individual liberty. Rights are granted by our Creator and recognized and protected by the Constitution, not handed down by government. I believe our leaders must exercise their authority carefully and transparently.

Noblesville does not need to imitate neighboring cities to succeed. Our strength is our history, our people, and our sense of community. This is what has formed the character that makes Noblesville such a special place to live. A Noblesville First approach means protecting what makes our city unique while making practical decisions that improve the daily lives of our residents.

Public service is not about ambition or recognition. It is about stewardship, trust, and accountability. Noblesville is stronger and we must do our part to steward it for the next generation.
